Excessive Sweating

Excessive sweating troubles

Sweating is essential for the proper functioning of our bodies, and necessary for the regulation of some vital functions including the maintenance of the human body temperature. However, an excessive production, hyperhidrosis or severe sweating, may be socially repugnant.
Regardless of the cause, whether it is hereditary, hormonal, endocrinal, or affective, excessive sweating troubles can be treated with the therapeutic use of the Botox in the affected areas: armpits, palms, soles, face, scalp…

Treating excessive sweating with botox

Local intradermal injections of Botox offer an effective treatment that has more reliable and lasting effects than most of the alternative solutions.

Botox injections favor the regulation of sweating by blocking the secretion of acetylcholine, thus blocking the nervous signal delivery to the muscles of the sebaceous glands.

For your convenience, an anesthetic cream can be applied before the injections which are administered at regular intervals, each 1 or 2 cm.

Clinical tests prove that 95% of the patients who received a Botox treatment for excessive sweating observed a significant reduction of sweating in less than 8 days after the injections. The first results are obtained in 3 to 4 days after the treatment and usually last from 6 months to 1 year.

Cost of the treatment

The cost of the Botox treatment for excessive sweating is generally between 250 and 500 euros, depending on the treated surface.
