Laser photo-rejuvenation can reduce imperfections due to photo aging such as wrinkles and brown spots while stimulating the collagen synthesis in order to enhance the suppleness of the skin.
While peels exfoliate the skin from the outside, this treatment acts from the inside. These techniques can be combined in some cases to obtain the expected result.

Doctor Natalie Rajao uses the Affirm® laser from Cynosure®. It can be used with all skin types to globally enhance the skin texture and to blur aging signs such as brown spots, red patches and skin withering.

  • No preparation is required.
  • A session lasts around 20 minutes. Patients might feel slight discomfort but the treatment is painless.

A moderate edema may appear for a few hours after the session, along with some discreet redness during the 48 hours following the treatment.

  • Depending on the patients, the treatment requires 2 to 5 sessions spaced in one month intervals.  A precise diagnosis will be made before the treatment in order to plan the required sessions. Patients will need to use sunscreen for the duration of the treatment.
  • The results lasts from 1 to several years, depending on the patient. However, as is the case for every skin treatment, patients need to use sunscreen SPF 50 to preserve the suppleness and the texture of their skin.

Laser photo-rejuvenation can be performed on patients over 30 years old. This treatment is the ideal complement to a targeted procedure using hyaluronic acid or botulinum toxin.
